Craig Westwood has had a typical career as a video and photographic technician, printing instructor, graphic designer, website designer, and for the last 15 years as a freelance designer and consultant.
The thing is… it didn’t stop there. A keen musician, Craig has been playing guitar, songwriting and recording music for over 35 years, considering this a ‘hobby’, if it weren’t for the strong encouragement from close friends and musicians to do more with his songs.
This led to Craig winning the Vero network’s “Vero Great Guitar Contest” in September 2019.
More recently in 2020, Craig wrote and released the song “Thinking On Your Own”, and helped form the band P.ii.
During the course of his career, Craig also gained some recognition as a narrator and used his voice talents on several multi-media projects, which, over time, has lead to work for clients as a voice-actor.
Never one to sit still for too long, Craig has also been a hot air balloon pilot since 2011. Often seen floating overhead in his self-designed colourful balloon “Thunderbolt”, hot air ballooning, a form of flying that, literally, follows the wind, and equally as unpredictable, is yet another facet of a person who likes to keep himself challenged.
